Steinwall, Carl August,  82, of Anoka, MN and Palm Springs, CA, died Tuesday October, 6th at 9:55 a.m. surrounded by family, friends and with his devoted wife, Sharon, at his side.  Carl was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Minnesota in the 1940s.  In 1965, he founded Steinwall, Inc., a mold making and thermoplastic injection molding company. Carl retired in 1987.   Carl was a past master of the Tusler Masonic Lodge, Roseville, MN and a long-time member of the 49'ers Breakfast Club of Saint Paul.  He was a recreational sailor, golfer, played the harmonica, loved a good joke, and could fix just about anything.  Carl is survived by his wife, Sharon (nee Carlisle); his children Susan, Maureen (Mike Lavelle), and Ronald (Danette); grandchildren Vanessa Hoff, Nikita Steinwall, Kaci Smolenski, and Tom Smolenski; and his sisters, Ruth Steinwall and Muriel Humenick.  He was predeceased by his brother, Edwin; his parents; and many dear friends.  A memorial service was held at Roseville Lutheran Church, 1215 W. Roselawn Avenue, Roseville, MN at 11:00 a.m. on October 17, 2009. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, North Memorial Residential Hospice, or to the charity of choice.
